What is intestinal sub-obstruction?

In certain diseases of the intestines, complications may be late. However, any abnormal signs should be a medical consultation. If these disorders are sometimes not detected by the investigations, the monitoring are mandatory and must be regular ...
Description
Intestinal sub-occlusion is characterized by an incomplete stop gas and feces due to the existence of a partial blockage in the intestines. This sign is sometimes associated with abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting.
Sub-intestinal obstruction and Crohn's disease ...
Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammation affecting parts of the digestive tract including the colon, anus and the last part of the small intestine (ileum).
The causes of Crohn's disease are now unspecified, however, several factors have been implicated in the mechanism of the disease, such as immunological factors (autoimmune disease), genetic factors (predisposition) and environmental factors (smoking, lifestyle, ...).
Crohn's disease is usually characterized by abdominal pain and chronic diarrhea, relapsing and worsening or triggering mainly after meals. These main signs are often accompanied by weight loss, fatigue, and sometimes fever.
These signs are not always the same, as also evolve with the locations of lesions.
ntestinal sub-occlusion is not a sign of Crohn's disease, but rather a local complication. The lesion, which is the seat of inflammation, may be complicated by a narrowing (stenosis or node), causing partial obstruction of intestinal part. Diarrhea can be noticed at a sub-occlusive episode. The sub-occlusion requires regular monitoring as may progress to bowel obstruction (complete cessation of materials and gases). This complication may be severe and require hospitalization.
This table of sub-occlusion is part syndrome Koenig, a main complication of Crohn's disease. It is a set of gastrointestinal symptoms consisting of abdominal pain (spasms occurring upstream of the
barrier), flatulence, bloating and gurgling, essentially relieved by the emission of gas and stool. These signs usually appear after the meal. Koenig syndrome is linked to a transient blockage in the bowel.
The image of stenosis should normally be sought by imaging tests such as ultrasound, CT, MRI or endoscopic ileal or colonic. If some tests could not prove the existence of the stenosis, more sophisticated and specific tests can be effective in research.
