The home delivery


For some women, the house is the ideal place for a baby. A familiar environment that provides them with insurance and security, outside of a medical environment may cause stress and anxiety. How does a home birth?
Liberal midwife is the health professional who helps the mother to give birth at home. Home birth is obviously assisted by the spouse and the couple can also bring a doctor.

- The sessions of preparation for childbirth and prenatal visits with the liberal midwife attend the birth are advised

- Do not expect an epidural

- Organize and plan in advance the care of other children on the day of delivery (even at home or with friends, relatives, ...)

- Prepare in advance the materials and space for childbirth: the bed (waterproof mattress), the room, towels, sponges, bowls, candles, massage oils and relaxation, easy access to hot water ...

- Remember to visit the house to the midwife to give birth so she can learn the middle before the day of delivery (a few months or days)
