Allergy and dietary companies early eviction does not appear to prevent the disease in high-risk children

Hunting house dust and dietary
changes on the fatty acids omega 3 and 6 in the first years of life does not
seem to prevent asthma, eczema and other forms of atopy in children with a
history Family asthma, according to an Australian study published in the
"Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology."
Sensitivity to house dust and low
acid ratio 3/Omega omega 6 in the diet were correlated with asthma.
In a new clinical trial, Dr Guy
Marks and his colleagues at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research in New
South Wales (Australia) investigated whether any changes in these factors could
prevent allergic disease and asthma, especially in children by selecting 616
young patients divided into three groups:
- The first receiving avoidance
measures dust in the place of life associated with a diet based on an increase
in the ratio of omega 3 to omega 6;
- The second benefit of the two
types of intervention
- The third receiving no specific
program during the first 5 years of life (control group).
Of all the young participants, 516
were evaluated at the age of 5 years.
Measures foreclosure house dust
appealed to the use of linen with anti-allergen and regular washing with
detergent also anti-allergenic home. In terms of food, the parents were advised
to prepare meals with rich rapeseed oils and give their child capsules of fish
oil to achieve a high ratio of omega 6 3/Omega.
Although predatory dust measures
helped reduce allergen levels in bed by 61%, they had no effect on the
occurrence of asthma or other allergies, report researchers. The presence of
eczema has even been more frequent in the group "allergen avoidance of
dust" in the control group (26% versus 19%).
In addition, while dietary changes
have actually resulted in an increase in the ratio of omega 6 3/Omega, they
failed to prevent allergic symptoms, the authors add, estimating and asthma can
be prevented but in certain conditions that may not appear to result from
environmental changes.
