HépatLes current government recommendations are to vaccinate:
- Infants,
- Children and tweens who have not previously been
vaccinated,
- Infants sero-positive mothers for HBs antigen,
- Health professionals,
- Drug addicts,
- Fans of piercing and tattooing
- People in frequent contact with a patient positive for HBs
antigen (family or community)
- HIV-positive people for HIV (AIDS) or HCV (hepatitis C)
- Hemodialysis
- Chronic transfusion
- Patients
- Personal structures for the mentally disabled
- People with multiple sexual partners (homo or
heterosexual) or with a recent STD
- Travelers in highly endemic countries
- Detainees
- Candidates for transplant ite B vaccine.
