Crohn's disease is a condition characterized by chronic inflammation of the digestive tract.
The inflammation may be localized to parts or all segments of the gastrointestinal tract (mouth, esophagus, intestines, anus) but is common on one or more parts of the intestine (ileum, hail, colon or anus). This is called "Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Disease or IBD."
