The graft: from donor to recipient

Conservation and transport are provided by the graft tissue banks, and controlled by the Biomedicine Agency. The transport time is variable depending on the organ but must be very short (a few hours) ... with the fastest means of transport.
The organ is placed in a protected and plastic container or cooler, sterile, at a temperature of 4 ° C. Some agencies require storage conditions and more specific, such as transportation kidney expanded polystyrene or EPS transport.

On the packaging the levy must be mentioned information about organ

- The date and place of sampling

- The organ removed and characteristics

- A code corresponding to the donor

- The destination of the body

Some files on the payer accompanying sample such as blood tests and biological information. All these data are provided in full respect of anonymity.
