Bleeding stomach ulcer

Digestive ulcers that bleed or threatening bleeding may benefit from a new technique that involves repeated injections in situ fibrin glue endoscopically.

The preliminary study involved several hundred patients is a bleeding ulcer, or an ulcer where a blood vessel was apparent but not bleeding.

The results seem to show that repeated injections of fibrin glue are better than if you do practice a single injection.

This technique allows to stop the bleeding, and the usual treatment of ulcer healing can (inhibitor of the proton pump, anti H2 etc ...).
