Tropical travel vaccinations

will do when
traveling in endemic countries (countries where cholera is present) or when
required by local authorities.

injection 6 days before departure, return at 6 months.
YELLOW FEVER
VACCINATION
is essential in
endemic areas, regardless of the duration of the trip (Africa, South America).
This vaccine is a legal requirement for international travel.
POLIO
VACCINATION DIPHTERIETETANOS
must be current.
3 vaccine one month apart and return the following year and then every 10
years.
VACCINATION
AGAINST HEPATITIS A (see HEPATITIS A VACCINE)
is highly
recommended for a trip to tropical or subtropical countries.
Two injections
one month apart are required and reminders 1 year and 10 years later.
VACCINATION
AGAINST HEPATITIS B
will be done by
two injections at 1-month intervals and reminders in the 6th month. It is

TYPHOID
VACCINATION

recommended over 2 years for travel to endemic countries (all tropical
countries actually).
A new vaccine,
TYPHIM VI, there recently. One injection is sufficient to recall three years.
VACCINATION
AGAINST JAPANESE ENCEPHALITIS
Currently, there
