Diathèse
Nom fallen into disuse since
the different diagnoses have been refined.
Indeed, this term was once referred
to a group of diseases which are assumed identical origin, and which reached a
patient simultaneously or sequentially.
They appeared in connection with a
constitutional or hereditary predisposition to certain diseases.
For example, susceptibility to
eczema is meant by this term, asthma and certain allergic maldies.
