Stomach ulcer diet advice

While the new highly effective medications have become obsolete the draconian regimes of yesteryear. However, some points need to be respected.
Smoking cessation is essential, as has been demonstrated adverse effect on the gastric mucosa.
Avoid taking aspirin and drugs ANTIINFLAMMATORY.
Avoid alcohol, especially alcohol on an empty stomach (appetizers).
Avoid spices: pepper, pimento, paprika, harissa, curry, mustard, pickles, vinegar.
Avoid sugary drinks and too sweet products such as candy, honey and jam that have an adverse effect on the gastric mucosa due to their action called osmotic. In addition, they generate a strong reaction insulin secretion, itself responsible for gastric acid hypersecretion.
Avoid fried and cooked fats.
Avoid certain foods difficult to digest:
- Cabbage, split peas, beans, lentils, chickpeas.

- Celery, cucumber and mushrooms.
